Version of 30 October 2026. This is a translation: the French version prevails in case of disagreement.
1. Purpose and scope
These terms of sale govern the supply by ShadowProxy (see the legal notice) of dedicated 4G proxies and, when offered, of mobile and residential data billed per GB, to any customer, consumer or business. Every order means acceptance of the terms in force on its date, which the customer accepts by ticking the box provided before paying. They prevail over any other document.
2. Customer account
Orders are placed from the customer area, once the account’s email address has been confirmed. The customer guarantees the accuracy of the information given and keeps their credentials confidential: any use of their account or access is deemed made by them.
3. Services
Dedicated 4G proxy: a 4G modem and its mobile line reserved for the customer for the period ordered, available over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, with an IP address change on demand (button in the customer area or rotation link). Each month of subscription includes 200 GB of data; beyond that, ShadowProxy may reduce the speed or suspend data until the start of the next month. The public IP address is assigned by the mobile carrier and may change; no specific address is guaranteed.
Data per GB: a volume of data usable on a partner’s residential or mobile proxy network, counted by usage, with no time limit unless stated otherwise when ordering.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, on the Pricing page and in the order summary. The applicable price is the one shown at the time of the order. ShadowProxy may change its prices at any time; orders already paid are not affected.
5. Ordering and payment
Payment is due when ordering, in one go, for the whole period or volume chosen:
- by card, on the secure page of our provider Stripe; ShadowProxy never has access to card numbers;
- in cryptocurrencies, on the page of our provider NOWPayments; the amount to pay is calculated from the price in euros at the current rate, and the order is deemed paid when the transaction is confirmed. An amount received below the price does not lead to delivery: the customer is contacted to settle the difference or be refunded.
The order is confirmed by email, with its summary.
Account balance. The customer can credit a balance from their customer area (by card) and use it to pay for orders. The balance is in euros, bears no interest and does not expire. The unused part is refunded when a consumer exercises their right of withdrawal (section 8) within 14 days of the top-up and, on request, when the customer closes their account; the refund is made to the card used for the top-up when possible, otherwise by bank transfer. An order paid with the balance is delivered under the same conditions as an order paid by card.
6. Performance and delivery
At the customer’s express request (box ticked when ordering), the service starts as soon as payment is received: access is made available in the customer area and sent by email, usually within minutes. As modems are put into service when ordered, delivery takes place at the latest 24 hours after payment; failing that, the customer may request a full refund. For a 4G proxy, the period ordered runs from delivery.
7. Duration and renewal
A 4G proxy is supplied for the number of months ordered (1 to 12), with no commitment beyond and no automatic renewal. A customer who wishes to continue places a new order before the end date; otherwise access is cut on the end date and the modem may be assigned to another customer, with new credentials.
8. Right of withdrawal
Consumer customers. In accordance with articles L221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code, consumers have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without giving any reason.
- Immediate performance requested. When ordering, the consumer expressly asks for the service to start before the end of that period. If they withdraw afterwards, they owe, in accordance with article L221-25, an amount proportional to the service supplied until their withdrawal request (for a 4G proxy: the monthly price pro rata to the days elapsed; for data: the GB used). The rest is refunded.
- Loss of the right. In accordance with article L221-28, 1°, the right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised for a service fully performed before the end of the 14-day period, performance having begun after the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement that they would lose that right. This is the case, in particular, for a volume of data entirely used.
- How to withdraw. The consumer informs ShadowProxy of their decision before the period expires through an unambiguous statement, by message from the order in their customer area or by email to contact@shadowproxy.fr, using the form below if they wish. Access is then cut.
- Refund. The amounts due are refunded at the latest 14 days after the request is received, by the payment method used: on the card, or in cryptocurrency to the address given by the customer for the equivalent value in euros.
Business customers. A customer ordering for the needs of their business has no right of withdrawal, except in the case provided for by article L221-3 of the French Consumer Code.
9. Use of the services
The customer uses the services in compliance with the law and the rights of third parties. In particular, it is forbidden to use them to send unsolicited messages (spam), commit fraud or identity theft, harm a computer system, attack or overload a service, access or distribute illegal content, or get around a security measure. Sending email through the proxies is blocked. Credentials and the rotation link are personal and may not be resold or shared without written consent.
In case of breach, a request from an authority or use endangering the network, ShadowProxy may suspend access without notice and, for a serious breach, terminate the contract with no refund of the current period. The customer is told of the suspension and its reason, unless prohibited by law.
10. Availability and liability
ShadowProxy monitors its equipment continuously and makes its best efforts to keep the service running; this is an obligation of means. Mobile networks may suffer disruptions beyond its control. An interruption of a 4G proxy of more than 24 consecutive hours attributable to ShadowProxy gives rise, at the customer’s request, to an extension of equal length.
The customer is solely responsible for the content they access or transmit and for how they use the services. Towards business customers, ShadowProxy’s liability is limited to direct damage and, in total, to the amount paid by the customer over the last 12 months. These limitations do not apply to consumers beyond what the law allows.
11. Legal guarantee of conformity
Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services provided by articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. For a service supplied continuously, such as the 4G proxy, ShadowProxy is liable for any lack of conformity that appears during the whole period of supply, and it is up to ShadowProxy to prove that the service was in conformity.
In case of a defect, the consumer is entitled to have the service brought into conformity, free of charge and within a reasonable time after their request. If this is impossible, refused or not done within that time, if the defect persists or is serious enough to justify it, they may obtain a price reduction or, unless the defect is minor, end the contract; they are then refunded the part of the price for the period of non-conformity and the remaining period. These rights are exercised with customer service (section 13) and add to the extension provided in section 10.
12. Personal data
Account and order data are processed to perform the contract, answer the customer and comply with our legal obligations (in particular the retention of connection data required from access providers). They are neither sold nor transferred. Details and the customer’s rights are in the legal notice.
13. Complaints and mediation
Any complaint is first sent to customer service, from the customer area or to contact@shadowproxy.fr. If the answer does not satisfy them, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator ShadowProxy belongs to, within one year of their written complaint. The mediator’s details will be given here once ShadowProxy has joined, which is in progress.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable agreement, disputes are brought before the competent courts; with business customers, before the courts of ShadowProxy’s registered office.
